Welcome To Hogwarts Moon 2029!
We were originally founded in March 2007 and achieved great success. A remake in October 2008 rendered even more success and, now in 2009, we hope to achieve even more. We are now over two years old (from original creation, not remake).
Will you choose to be a student?
Or perhaps a Professor?
Or would you prefer to join the force that is Bestia Exortus, and try to undermine and destroy Hogwarts in our new plot?
The choice is yours. We are a very active site with a fantastic community of members and Admins alike. We are thinking of a new plot at the moment, and if you have any ideas at all regarding that, please PM Jon Mulligan (username: admin).
You won't regret joining!
If you have any questions: PM one of the Admins below.

Weather Report:
Generally a brighter start to each day with bright, hot rays of sunshine beating down. Very warm in the sun, but quite cool in the shade. Cloud cover could make a very warm day very cold in a short amount of time, so wrap up just in case. Afternoon sun can be baking hot so don't forget sun cream either.

Tia's eyes drooped as she stared at the two lines that were scribbled across the plain peice of parchment in front of her. Transfiguration really did demand a lot of theory work, and her body clock at the moment refused to corperate, seeing it half past six in the evening, and sleep was the only thing that seemed to be able to pass through her mind, giving her any happiness within her thoughts. The fifth law defies every posibility... wait, what was i writing? er... URGH! this thing... why cant i just get one of those quick note quill things - i cant even remember what they're called! oh look - lisa just passed by, i should've said hi - huh, no i shouldn't, i should be working - yea, what was i writing?
Tia blinked sleepily at the piece of parchment in front of her, her head slipping off her palm, upon which it had been resting for the past minute or so. She licked her lips, frowning slightly as the temptation to fall asleep continued to lure her in. I will not sleep, I will not sleep... I'll just rest my head on the table. Tia dropped her head on the table - which hurt seeing wood and bones didn't gel together too well. She covered her head with her arms, turning her head to one side as her eyes shut themselves, the battle comming to a un-satisfactory end as her body began relaxing into the position she was in at the moment, all thoughts about her laying forgotten.
Despite the fact that her eyes were shut, she could hear more or less everything going on at the moment - though truth be told to her mind it just sounded like a whole load of mush. She adjusted her head slightly, getting herself more comfertable as she sniffed out into the air, darkness slowly beginning to creep up in the awake spaces of her mind.

"Huh?" No one was there. "Ugh," she then said. She was dreaming a wonderful dream. Victor Krum, her husband to be, was taking her to an after-party of a major Quidditch match at someone's house. They were going up the stairs to "do the dirty" until something woke her up and disturbed her more than satisfying fantasy.
Falling asleep in the library was a ritual for Rigel. She sometimes worked on her assignments way more than need be and her exhaustion would just eventually catch up with her. Moving in the large plush chair, Rigel closed her eyes again and groaned. She was too lazy to head to her room since the Slytherin common room was all the way down in the dungeons. Rigel lay there dangling her legs over the arm rest, her head laying on the one parallel to it. She closed her eyes and sniffed, changing her position to make herself more comfortable. The great thing about her was that she was able to fall asleep on anything. The skill came with being a hardcore party person.

Gaston wondered into the library and started to search the expansive bookshelves for the books he needed to finish his homework. He ran his fingers across the various books spines not finding the books he needed. He walked abit further trying to remember where the books should be shelved. He stiffled a yawn as he continued his search. After a few minutes he finally found the books he needed. He grabbed the books and headed for a table so that he could finish his final piece of homework.
Gaston stopped at a table and grinned. An idea came to his mind and his grin turned into a sly grin. He started to tip-toe to the table making sure that he didn't make any noise. His grinned broadened, this was going to be a classic he thought to himself. Both Tia and Rigel sitting at the same table sleeping. He shook his head, this was almost too easy. He stopped an stood next to the table, he considered what his best attack would be, he looked down at the thick books he held in his hands and gave a sly smile. Perfect. He dropped the books as loudly as possible on the table and waited for the two girls' responses.
"HOLY SHIT!!!" Tia cursed as a harsh vibration through the table sent her head spinning into oblivion - or so it seemed like. Tia literally pushed her body up with a start, her ear's all fuzzy as her vaguely started to take in the picture in front of her. Rigel was sitting up, just as alarmed as Tia, her expression mirroring Tia's too. If Rigel had screamed too, Tia had missed it, Probably due to the fuzzy ear thing.
"NO SWEARING MISS GRANGER, AND KEEP YOUR VOICE DOWN! YOU KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT TOO MISS SERPENS, DON'T MAKE ME WANT TO REPORT YOU TO THE HEAD OF YOUR HOUSES!" The librarian shrieked, Tia'd more or less forgotten they were in the library. She shot an apologetic angelic smile over at the librarian, before her head flipped over to look at the prat who'd just woken her up.
Tia knew that half the people in the library at the moment were staring, a couple giggling, some slowly looked away seeing they were probably used to seeing Tia and Rigel causing trouble in the library - it wasn't anything new truth be told. As the form of Gaston appeared before Tia's eyes, it didn't really take much time for Tia to stand up, and launch herself at the Slytherin male, pushing him back towards the bean bag that lay in the middle of the row.
Tia landed on top of the guy, sitting up on his stomach, pulling onto his shirt - she hadn't managed to push him very far seeing her petite figure would hardly do much damage to him. "You freaking retard!" she cursed under her breath, this wasn't unsual when it came to Gaston, Tia and Rigel, the three of them tended to do a lot to bug each other all the time. "I was sleeping! Know how rare that is ?! I haven't slept properly for months! These stupid teachers are doing my head in! And you! You go ruin my sleep!" Tia's eyes narrowed, as she shot a playful yet murderous glance at the Slytherin.
She began punching his chest in vain, as she let out "Urghs," and fake cries. "Never do that to us! EVER again!" she hissed, her tone cranky, as she got off the Slytherin boy, only to partially drop over her own feet and drop to the ground on her knees. "Today is not my day!" she moaned. "Serpens! Help!" Tia groaned in a cranky tone as she burried her face in her hands, pushing herself to lean against one of the bookshelves.

As Tia assumed, Rigel definitely screamed her head off. It wasn't a year long yell, however it was a loud yelp with a few curses placed within. Once she realized what happened Rigel stuck up her middle finger to Gaston and rolled her eyes. The librarian's scowl didn't really help her mood either, but she did nod and say "Sorry" to her. Stupid boys get away with murder at this school, she thought bitterly. As she calmed herself down, Rigel sighed and tried to comfort herself on the chair again. This time she rested her head on the table.
As Tia started to attack the stupid Slytherin boy, she closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep again. It wasn't working and she opened one eye to see where Gaston and Tia were in the room. Her friend was calling for help and Rigel was too tired to physically get up and bring aid. Instead, she grabbed Tia's quill and threw it in Gaston's direction. Thanks to the feather being attached however, the wind resisted it from even going farther than a foot and it spiraled down to her feet. Looking back up to the quarreling pair, Rigel smirked and said "Well that helped a lot," she said.

It was half six in the evening on a slightly chilly Tuesday towards the end of March and Chris was doing something he hadn’t spent more than 10 minutes a day doing since he appeared at the school: Homework. Even though Chris had never really put his best efforts into school, or for that matter, homework, he had always got top grades due to his natural brains that didn’t need much prompting to appear. Chris had also attended regular lessons for the first time this week and, even though his teachers were shocked and slightly worried to see him in their lessons, he had managed to get good results. Chris suspected all this was due to Alex and her influence on him. He has responsibilities and that has had an effect on him. However, even though he was now doing homework and attending lessons, that does not mean that he has changed completely.
Chris finished off his 2-and-a-half-feet long Transfiguration essay with a tidy conclusion, summarising the whole thing in one, large paragraph. He put his name at the bottom and used his wand to dry the whole thing so the ink wouldn’t smudge and run. He smiled at his work that had only taken him 2 hours and rolled it up neatly, tying it with a piece of cloth. He placed it into his bag and fastened it up before putting it down and walking over to take a book on advanced charms from the shelf, in readiness for his next essay due in in a few days time. He opened the cover and began reading the first page with his feet up on the low table in front of him when he heard an almighty scream from two girls far away to his right.
Chris jumped and the book flew out of his hands, landing with half the pages crumpled underneath the weight of the bind on a chair beside him. He looked around angrily for the source of the commotion and saw Tia, along with another brunette girl recovering from a fright. The source he was looking for seemed to come from a boy who had a smirk on his face, although that was before Tia jumped on him and began hitting him in the chest. Chris grinned at the sight; that was Tia all right. Chris got up and walked towards them, slinging his bag over his shoulder and flicking his hair as he went.
He came up beside the table and looked at them all in turn. Tia wasn’t her usual self; she had bags under her eyes and she looked stressed beyond belief. ‘Hey, Tia.’ Chris said with a smile in her direction, as always. ‘What’s going on?’ He asked in a friendly tone, even though his eyes swivelled to gaze at the other boy who seemed to cause her annoyance; no-one annoyed his friends apart from him. ‘And who’s this?’ Chris said, extending his hand to the brunette girl he had yet to meet. ‘Chris Nekuan.’ He smiled at her; she had a pretty face and a slender figure but there was something in her eyes that said that she was a “bad girl”.
Tia's eyes shifted over towards a quill that came flying her way, dropping like... half way between her and the table. "No offense Serpens, but quills aint good for rescues," Tia pointed out as she steadied her head a bit, it felt slightly fuzzy inside there - she was still quite sleepy, but the whole book slamming, jumping on Gaston thing had made her will to want to sleep go POOF. Which sucked, big time.
Tia licked her lips, seeing they were totally out of moisture as a rather familiar voice greeted her. Her natural smile flung onto her face as she looked over at Chris. "Hey you," she greeted sleepily and yawned. "My will to sleep just went poof, I just tried to hit Gaston like hell but it didn't work out too well seeing my knuckles hurt, my head is all in gagaland seeing i just tripped over my own feet... and er, im sitting on the floor, with no will or energy to get up." she rambled as she blinked over at the fellow Gryffindor.
She shook her head slightly as she leaned against the bookshelves, forcing herself up as she moved in her usual un-graceful stance towards the table where Rigel sat-slept and Chris stood. She grabbed her quil along the way. "Rigel, Chris, Chris, Rigel. I'm sure the two of you can figure out who's who." she muttered absently, slamming her head on the table as she introduced the two people to one another.
"I wanna sleep! Sleep! Arghh... but I can't know! Damn you Gaston! Imma getcha back for this! I'll eat you, or jump on you screaming piggy back when you're flirting with your girlfriends, imma getcha back for this doofus!" Tia sighed whispering, as she leaned her elbows on the table, raising her head to burry it in the plams of her hands as she let out a fake cry.
"I haate Transfiguration." she complined, her tone cranky as it always was when she was sleepy. She looked up at Chris, "Chris, buddy, you know I love you right? Like lots and lots and lots?" she said, her face turning angelic as she tried to smile up at the Sixth Year, "And you've already done al this stuff..." she continued, "Any chance of tutoring me?" she concluded. "By tutoring, I mean, giving me all your old work to partially copy off." she added, actually quite surprised she managed to get so many words out of herself.
Well, if there was one thing in the world that was impossible - it was shutting Tia Granger up. So, honestly speaking, she shouldn't be all that surprised. "Pretty, please?" she added, "I'll give you cookies."

Rigel stuck her tongue out at Tia, not really caring if she or Gaston beat the crap out of each other. She was tired and pissed at Gaston for waking her up and now that she was completely awake she was even more crabby. However that quickly went away when she spotted a friend of Tia's come and greet her. He was rather cute... very cute rather and Rigel liked what she saw. Her eyebrow rose quickly but then disappeared as soon as it came. Sitting up in her seat, she stroked her long brown hair back (knowing she looked good that way) and smiled. "Nice to meet you Chris," she said softly in her Welsh accent. "It seems you and I share the same misfortune of being Tia's study partners." She smirked at her joke and then giggled.
Looking to Gaston, Rigel winked and then returned her attention to Chris and Tia. "Bloody hell Tia, just learn to do things on your own," she whined while closing her textbook. She was clearly done for the day and just wanted to enjoy a nice evening in the school. Perhaps a bit of late night exploration was in order.
After packing her books, Rigel stayed seated for she didn't plan to leave yet. She just wanted all of her things together when she finally decided to go. "So," she said to Chris in a flirtatious voice. "Why haven't I met you yet? You don't look like a first year."

Gaston burst out laughing at both girls' reactions, he had been expecting a reaction just nothing so well loud. He was then pushed onto one of the bean bags by Tia, he was shocked by her anger. Gaston had expected Tia to react just not so violently. He smiled apologetically at the librarian. "Sorry it's my fault, I gave her a fright" he said quickly. He watched Tia get up and fall to her knees, she did seem pretty tired he admitted guiltily to himself. He watched Rigel with amusement as she attempted to attack him with her quill.
Gaston recognised Chris as the Gryffindor who had decided recently to suddenly attend Transfiguration more regularily. He nodded at the boy who was now introducing himself as Chris, "Gaston Beauvilliers, You're in my Tranfiguration class right?" he asked inquiringly. "Sorry Tia, I was just kidding around with you" he said turning to Tia. He snorted when she said she would get back at him when he was flirting with his girlfriends. "Me flirting with what girlfriends, as far as I know I'm currently single" he grinned at her "Unless you know more about my love life than I do?"

Chris walked quietly up the group of students, one of them he knew quite well and it was to this girl that he spoke to and looked at first. Chris smiled at Tia as she replied back and yawned wildly, confirming his suspicions that she was very tired. Chris frowned at her as she rambled on about random things. ‘You look tired, Tia.’ Chris said in a tender, but severe tone. ‘When was the last time you slept?’ He looked towards Gaston. ‘Without interruption, anyway.’ He scowled at the boy before he turned back to Tia, who had begun complaining about Transfiguration. Chris peered down at her suspiciously when she adopted a persuasive tone. Chris heard her out and burst out laughing. ‘You want me to help you?’ Chris asked incredulously. ‘You think that I could help you? Most of my work is wrong anyway!’ This was an obvious lie and one that Tia would pick up on, but Chris believed it in his modesty. ‘Trust me,’ He said, ‘you have a much better chance getting it right without my help. And besides…’ He straightened up and grinned. ‘I don’t like cookies.’
Chris twisted around to look at the brunette girl who was called Rigel and smiled in disguised amusement at the girls’ reaction to seeing Chris. Hers was a normal reaction to whenever a girl saw Chris’s astonishing good looks, but he tried to ignore it where he can, as he was perfectly happy with Alex. ‘Very nice to meet you too, Rigel.’ He nodded at her, noting his approval at the shade of her hair. Chris laughed at her comment. ‘I don’t know about misfortune.’ He smiled at Tia. ‘She can be quite thick sometimes, but quite clever in others.’ He winked at her before he turned back to Rigel and shrugged. ‘Dunno. Maybe you haven’t been looking in the right places?’ He didn’t fail to notice her flirtatious voice and he then walked around to the vacant seat at the table, even though Rigel looked like she was packed up and ready to go. ‘And for the record, I’m sixth year. What about you? Surely a girl as good-looking as you cannot have escaped my radar for so long? You must be new to Hogwarts.’ Chris winked before he swivelled his gaze up to the boy standing over their table still, who was speaking to him. ‘Chris Nekuan.’ Chris said with a nod. ‘Er…if you’re a sixth year, then I suppose I am. Are you new too? I haven’t seen you around before.’
Tia rolled her eyes at Gaston, "It's fine, I just over react." she muttered absently, "You should know that," she added with a yawn as she rubbed her eyes and looked over at Rigel, kicking her under the table. "Pfft, you know you really ought to appreciate me more," she boasted, though the joking tone in her voice was obvious, "I mean, what would you do without me? You'd be a loner, sleeping in the library. I keep you company." she pointed out shaking her head slightly.
Chris's previous question echoed a bit in Tia's ears. Truth be told, Tia didn't know when was the last time she slept. It felt like decades ago... or perhaps even a centuary. "I dunno." she admited, "But bleh, my body clock is sorta fucked. Can't sleep during the night anymore, i'm too used to staying up doing homework." she commented, though the end of her sentance was drowned in a yawn.
Pfft, Damn him and his modesty, "Christopher Nekuan - you're probably the smartest student in your effink year. And even though I've been getting my perfect grades until last year - this year all the work is just damaging my brain. So, for the sake of my sanity, quit being modest and just gimme your work." she mumbled, giving Chris her usual 'playful-glare'. "And, for the record - you can't be my friend and not like cookies. So get used to liking them, or i'll probably end up strangling you." she added as she streched, before dropping herself on the table again.
Sigh, I most certainly am not getting any sleep at the moment, but damn my eyes don't wanna stay open! Urgh, I need cold water. Tia quickly looked over Rigel's shoulder, making sure the librarian wasn't looking, before she took her wand out, and pointed it at her left hand, muttering a spell under her breath as a clear jet of water shot out from the end of her wand, into her left hand which she splashed straight onto her face, blinking as the cool liquid relaxed her eyelids, allowing them to stay open. She wiped her eyes using the back of her hand, before pointing her wand down at the carpet which had gotten slightly splashed, and murmuring yet another spell to dry it off.
"Okay, much better." she muttered as she blew out into the air, before looking over at Rigel. "Oh by the way, quit the flirting," she added, with a slight laugh as she shook her head at one of her best friends, "Chris's got a girlfriend." Tia's famous cheeky smile appeared on her face. She just loved bursting people's happy bubbles. "How's Alex anyway?" she inquired, before her attention snapped over towards Gaston, who she noticed was yet close to the bookshelves.
"Why're you standing there like a loner?" she inquired, before rolling her eyes, "Oh yea - I forgot, you are a loner." she muttered sticking her tongue out at Gaston, her cheeky smile prominant on her face as she giggled slightly, combing her hands through her hair. "Oh and F-Y-I, I meant those numerous amount of girls who continue to follow you around the school, 'cause they just go gaga over your looks." she pointed out matter of factly, "I still think those chicks require brain therapy." she giggled, sticking her tongue out at Gaston again.

As you'll probably be able to guess, I'm bored =p So my reply is just crazy! Sorry for the randomness in advance guys!
It was nigh on 7 o' clock as Aurora Ruthven finally packed up her Transfiguration textbooks and parchment, before gathering her bag and standing up tall. Standing on the tips of her toes she stretched high, her fingers aimed high towards the ceiling as her mouth parted in a wide yawn. Glancing around the common disinterestedly, Rora hoisted her bag onto her shoulder, and strode over to the wall leading out of the Slytherin common room. It would be twilight outside, and with a small smile Rora headed out of the dungeon, not being able to wait to see out of the castle windows. This was her favourite time of day, especially since it was late March, meaning the evenings were becoming crisp and clear.
A short, floating red skirt skimmed halfway up her thighs as Rora ran down the castle steps, throwing her jacket down upon the grass as she skipped out onto the grounds. Her tuned iPod was resting in an invisible holster on her inner arm, and as she skimmed the freshly cut grass she turned the volume up onto full, her joy at the atmosphere radiating out far and wide.
I got a lot to say to you Yeah, I got a lot to say I noticed your eyes are always glued to me...
A flick of her hand and a stream of fire shot like a firework out of her fingertips, and twirling on the spot, Rora's skirt floated around her in a midnight dance. The fire danced after her, creating a variety of beautiful patterns set against the night sky, as Rora noted the windows that were alight in the castle. With a twist, her trail of fire danced past the Hufflepuff end of the school, followed by the windows to the prefects bathroom and lastly the library. Grinning to herself, Rora's sensual voice echoed out of her throat loudly, her lips forming the words of the song.
Keeping them here And it makes no sense at all...
Well there was no-one there to embarrass herself in front of... or was there? Rora didn't care, and after 5 minutes or so her feet trailed her back inside the castle, her breathing slightly erratic and eyes somewhat glazed after a few minutes of freedom. She wasn't privy to much of that these days, since everything that had happened in the past few months, however much she was trying to block it out now. Needless to say, she was failing miserably. Picking up her bag, Rora banished her jacket back to her dormitory and let her feet lead her to the library. One Transfiguration essay was done... but that didn't mean there weren't others due in. Her Astronomy was due in that night, but it would take a couple of hours of hard work to fill in the diagram Professor Maken Furi had set them. With a soft sigh, Rora welcomed the distraction and turned her iPod up full, regardless of how much the librarian would probably shout at her.
So much was her attention diverted in her own thoughts, that as Rora entered the library, her eyes only vaguely registered the students standing there.
They taped over your mouth Scribbled out the truth with their lies...
Wandering besides a bookshelf, Rora's fingers trailed softly over the bindings, finding and picking out the Astronomy book she needed quite quickly. It was only as she pulled out a chair on a table that she heard him speak. 'Surely a girl as good-looking as you cannot have escaped my radar for so long'... Rora's head shot around, and her bag fell onto the table with a loud clatter, resulting in a reproaching look being shot from the librarian. Her attention was too caught otherwise for her to register this look, as her eyes fell upon the slender form of Chris stood not two meters away from her. Two months... It had been two months since she had clapped eyes on him last, and that was when he had ran out on her in the Slytherin common room. Her eyes traced his slender form lovingly, before tearing her eyes away, her good mood disappearing in one quick motion and she forced herself to look at the table, her hurt bubbling away inside. 'Escaped my radar'... Was he TRYING to sound like a whore now!?
Rora had avoided Chris like the plague for weeks now after he had left her for Alex, and every day it still smarted more and more. It was like a slap in the face to see him now, despite him being her best friend. Rora had been suicidal after he left, and the mere sight of him was enough to drop her back down into the pits of depression. Dropping her eyes quickly, Rora flicked a hand in Tia in welcome. She had met the girl on a midnight feast in the kitchens one day, and loved her to pieces. The other two however, she didn't know but flashed a forced smile nonetheless. The music pulsed out of her earphones on full volume as Rora tried to shut herself down from the thoughts, knowing that she was likely disrupting everybody in there. 'S is for the simple need'... The lyrics echoed hauntingly in her head as Rora buried her head into her book, trying hard to disappear.

i'm the girl whose looking at you cuz' i left late again
Rigel smirked to Gaston and decided to play around with him like she usually did. "Well according to last night," she began. "You couldn't get enough of me." Rigel enjoyed being promiscuous, or at least acting like she was. She wasn't a virgin of course however she wasn't one to just go around and sleep with everyone either. Joking around sexually was just part of her humor and only those who knew her well (like Tia or Gaston) would understand that.
Returning her attention to Chris, Rigel giggled and shook her head. She then felt Tia's kick under the table and Rigel couldn't help but yelp "OW" before being shushed by the librarian again. Narrowing her eyes Rigel looked at Tia disdainfully. "Ah yes she is very clever," she agreed. "But she uses it for evil... EVIL I TELL YOU!!" She narrowed her eyes and pointed an accusatory finger right into Tia's face, attempting to be as serious as possible. Being silly was another one of Rigel's "wonderful" qualities and it was an addition reason as to why she and Tia got along so well. The seriousness didn't last long however, and Rigel's face formed the biggest smirk ever seen on her face. "Ugh," she grunted. "I'm too tired to be serious at this point. I'm bloody loosing me mind." She then looked to Chris and giggled. "Well at least I see you have good taste," she replied. Rigel was aware of her looks, but wasn't one to preach about it. The fact that she was fortunate enough to be as attractive as she was, was something she never took for granted. Of course playing around was her character and doing that once and a while couldn't hurt anyone right?
"I'm a fifth year. Slytherin." It was this part that would be the test. If Chris was a stupid non-Slytherin who had a problem with her, she would have no hesitation in taking out her wand and teaching him a lesson. But hopefully he was more tolerant than that. Most students in the school knew who she was just because of her last name (that is if they read the news of course). Therefore keeping up her guard on people she first met was crucial. The Serpens family was one of the few Pure Blooded Mania families left since the age of Harry Potter thirty-one years ago. Rigel was lucky enough to grow a mind of her own while attending Hogwarts since her first year and see that those who weren't pure blooded were just the same as her.
Rigel then turned her attention back to Tia when she told her that Chris was taken. The Slytherin really didn't care and so she shrugged. "Too bad," she said non-nonchalantly. "Real waste in my opinion. Could have shown you a good time." All flirting was cut off after that. Rigel wasn't one to start taking other girl's guys since she wouldn't want that to happen to her. Tuning in on Tia's comments to Gaston, Rigel smiled and shook her head. "Well he does but none of them compare to me right darling?" she said in a mocking tone while fluttering her eye lashes. It was then that another person joined their group and Rigel looked at her with a neutral face. She had seen the girl around the common room before but couldn't recall her name. Rigel gave the girl a small smile and then nodded her head.

Gaston laughed when Tia told him that he should appreciate her more. "Aww Tia I do appreciate you, it's just really tempting to prank two girls who are sitting in the library sleeping" He said with an innocent look on his face. "Me a loner, puh-lease!" He smiled. "I would find much better places to sleep, like the kitchens" He knew this last statement would confuse everyone and that's why he said it. He shook his head at Tia's attempt at threatning Chris. "So that's one of your standards for friends, they must like cookies?" He said enquiringly. "And all this time I thought we were friends because of my good looks and charming personality."
He listened to Rigel flirting with Chris and shook his head smiling, typical Rigel. Flirt with every guy that she met that looked like she might get a chance to date him. He walked forward and sat in a chair at the same table. Once he was seated he turned to Tia. "Are you happy now that I'm not standing around like a loner?" he said jokingly He then turned to speak to Chris "No I'm not new, been here since first year" He nodded in Rigel's direction. "I'm with rigel in Slytherin" He couldn't help but laugh at what Tia told him about all the girls that followed him around. "You mean all my stalkers?" he said grinning. "Yeah some of them do have potential, pity really that most of them are second and third years. Bit young for my taste you know" He grinned and turned to face Rigel "But of course none of them compare to you. How can second and third years compare to you?" Gaston noticed the Slytherin girl join their group and aknowledged her with a wave and a small smile.

Chris frowned and began to get worried when Tia told him she didn’t know the last time she had slept. ‘You’re staying up late to complete homework?’ He asked incredulously, but then again, Tia was in the middle of preparation for her OWLS. He smiled and turned his head away to look at the door, as if he was waiting for someone to come in. ‘Me? Smartest in my year?’ He laughed. ‘Not likely, missy, after not going to lessons for over 5 months.’ He grimaced; it only occurred to him recently that it had been that long; he was now determined to go to more lessons consistently; he wanted his child to be proud of him. Chris turned his head back to Tia when she had finished and smiled. ‘Ok, maybe I’ll let you have a few assignments. Which ones are you finding most difficult?’ He asked helpfully, bypassing her threat with a cheeky wink.
Chris’s head swivelled back around to the door when he heard it squeak open, revealing a girl he knew very well, wearing a thigh-length red skirt. Aurora’s black hair swished as she walked and she settled herself at a table not too far away, after taking a book from the shelf. She barely seemed to notice them, but that could be forgiven, as it was obvious her blaring music from her specially designed iPod was distracting her. Chris thought that if he knew Rora well, it was obvious the distraction was just that: a distraction. His stomach twisted as he thought what needed to be distracted, a wave of guilt overpowering him as he thought back to that amazing but horrible night in the Slytherin dorms. As Chris spoke to Rigel, he saw out of the corner of his eye that Rora looked up and dropped her bag upon the table, a hurt look on her face. Chris looked towards her and smiled weakly, his eyes scrunching up in pain as he saw the effects of his decision to stay with Alex.
Rora then sat down and buried her head in her book. Chris turned away and forced a smile on his face as Rigel replied to him. He smiled at her as she called Tia evil, which wasn’t far off the truth sometimes. Chris smiled wryly at Rigel’s comment about him having good taste, something that made him feel a twinge of dislike towards her; he didn’t like arrogance, off hand or not. ‘Well, yes I do…which is why I won’t be even thinking of trying it on with you.’ He winked playfully, hoping that she took it as a joke. ‘Ahh, another Slytherin; there are just too many of you lot. You make the place look untidy with all your green.’ He flashed a grin at Tia. ‘I’m a sixth year Gryffindor.’ He raised an eyebrow at her comment about showing him a good time if he wasn’t taken. ‘Oh really? What a shame!’ He winked and then turned to Tia. ‘Alex is fine.’ He smiled. ‘She’s getting big, which is quite strange as that girl was born to be thin and dainty.’ He laughed but quickly cut off as he thought of Rora not 3 metres away from him; blaring music or not, to talk about that particular subject was tactless. Chris turned his head over to the boy whose name seemed to be Gaston and smirked at the boy, he reminded him of his younger self, arrogant and cocky. ‘You’ve been here since first year?’ He hummed. ‘Surprising. I’ve never seen you around.’ He lay back on his chair and surveyed the boy, his eyebrow raised again. ‘Which particular girls have been stalking you? I hope you didn’t hurt their feelings…’ Chris smirked, his voice had lowered and some might interpret that as threatening. However, he didn’t care that only Tia would understand that he was joking. Chris turned his eyes towards Rora, who was still buried in her book, although he had a sneaky suspicion she wasn’t taking anything in with him in here. ‘Do you want me to leave? I don’t mind if you want to get some work done.’ He flashed a small smile at her after he spoke the tenderly spoken words into her mind.
