Welcome To Hogwarts Moon 2029!
We were originally founded in March 2007 and achieved great success. A remake in October 2008 rendered even more success and, now in 2009, we hope to achieve even more. We are now over two years old (from original creation, not remake).
Will you choose to be a student?

Or would you prefer to join the force that is Bestia Exortus, and try to undermine and destroy Hogwarts in our new plot?

Cloud cover could make a very warm day very cold in a short amount of time, so wrap up just in case. Afternoon sun can be baking hot so don't forget sun cream either.

5. Remember that this Hogwarts is set in 2028, Harry and friends last year at Hogwarts was 1998 (30 years ago) so canon characters will be adult wizards or descendants.
6. Once registered please change your display name to a full name e.g. Candi Lestrange or Professor Moon in your profile. Please do not use usernames e.g. Lestrange4eva or Moon28.

The Role Player Name/Alias: Ace Age: 19 Location: USA, Pacific Coast Abit about you: I’ve been RPing for 5 years, I’ve been on this board before but it’s been at least a year since I’ve been gone. I played Matthew Driscoll (whom I’m bringing back) & Barbas Bloodvayne. How you heard about Hogwarts Moon: I never forgot you guys.
The Character Name: Matthew Driscoll Age: 57 (potions have affected age appearance) Blood: Pure Celeb avatar: Oded Fehr Wand: 12” Agathis, Dragon Heartstring Core History: Matthew Driscoll was born to a Death Eater for a father (who has since died in Azkaban) and an Unspeakable for a mother, naturally having no parental figures in his life. He was raised a ward of the Ministry of Magic, in the care of hospitality witches until he was old enough to attend Hogwarts. Upon being accepted into Slytherin, Matthew acquired all the things he needed in a peculiar manner; he came out to be a very savvy businessman as far as his wizarding went, getting all his supplies nearly dirt cheap.
During his time in Hogwarts, Matthew had his fare share of misdeeds and misfortune as well as his top-rate studies. He excelled in charms and potions while only taking minimal notice for magical creatures, finding creatures of the dark to be his focus; he had no interest in Quiddich or other clubs, instead opting to try and start his own business dealing in magical goods, books, and services that catered to the more mischievous crowd.
During his fifth year at Hogwarts, Matthew uncovered a smuggling ring among the Ravenclaw & Slytherin study groups, finding Dark Arts memorabilia and other wares from Knockturn Alley, and threatened them all to have them expelled; convinced of the threat by some carefully-placed illusions of surveillance, the ring was broken up, and Matthew was allowed to seize the assets & profits. It was his first and only major accomplishment at Hogwarts, other than earning a couple new friends towards his business ventures. Once he was on his own, Matthew wanted nothing more to do with the Ministry, withdrawing his status as a ward and became fully independent. He even dealt with the Death Eaters from time to time, but has since denounced any official membership. Still, people have their doubts about his claims of not being a dark wizard.
After graduating, Matthew went and explored opportunity in Knockturn Alley, finding a condemned lot that would serve well for what he had in mind. With the appropriate funds and a deed deal through Gringott’s bank, Matthew had the lot renovated to become a suitable bookstore/workshop for exotic books & magical items, letting the place become known as Morbid Matthew’s Black Books because of its main purpose: rare books and volumes dealing with controversial wizardry and the Dark Arts.
Appearance: Matthew stands a fair 5’11” tall and weighs in at a healthy 175 lbs, having a suitable build that bears muscle. He is in perfect health, though his image has a couple of flaws that indicate he’s been touched by dark forces. Matthew’s hands are usually dirty and his fingernails are unkempt, though it seems to be the only major flaw in his image, other than some pronounced facial lines and darkened eyes. Most of the time he is found to wear neat clothing, either sharp business clothing or dark-colored wizard robes, often times a combination of both.
Personality: Matthew is a tough person to peg as a ‘type of person’. He can be very convincing when the need calls for it, but most of the time Matthew is cynical and deceptive, a master of baselining conversation and twisting words to meet what he wants, even if he doesn’t mean to lace the words with a little fear and mistrust. Sometimes he can be a good guy and help when needed, and other times Matthew will not touch a presented issue. As expected of his background, Matthew is well-versed in the Dark Arts as well as common wizardry. No one really knows where his allegiances lie, though he always has an eye and ear for business…
